Inventory Item Cost Update
Manually update the standard or average cost of an inventory item. Cost changes create corresponding GL journal entries.
Fields
- Item - Select the item to update
- Current Cost - Displayed for reference
- New Cost - Enter the new standard cost
- Material Cost - Direct material component
- Labour Cost - Direct labor component
- Overhead Cost - Overhead component
GL Impact
Cost updates post the difference to the inventory account and the adjustment account.
