Attendance Sheet

Attendance Sheet is the live attendance entry screen in the HR menu. It combines a monthly grid view, drill-down editing, and bulk actions.

Filters

  • Month
  • Year
  • Department (optional)
  • Employee (optional)

What You See

  • Employees listed in rows.
  • One day column for each day of the selected month.
  • Attendance status displayed in each cell.
  • Bulk employee checkboxes for fill or delete actions.

Cell Edit Inputs

When you edit a cell, the form can capture:

  • Status - present, absent, half day, on leave, and related states.
  • Regular Hours
  • Overtime Type
  • Overtime Hours
  • Shift
  • Clock In
  • Clock Out
  • Leave Type
  • Notes

Bulk Actions

  • Fill Working Days - creates default present-day attendance for working days that have no records.
  • Bulk Delete - removes attendance rows for selected employees within the visible month, except payroll-locked dates.

Workflow

  1. Filter to the month, department, or employee you need.
  2. Click a day cell to edit or use bulk actions for repetitive work.
  3. Save each change and review notifications.

Important Notes

  • Payroll-locked dates cannot be edited or deleted.
  • Holidays and weekends are shown distinctly from ordinary absences.
  • This page is more than a summary view. It is the primary operational attendance screen.
