Lost Reasons

Categorize why leads and opportunities were lost. These reasons are selected when marking an opportunity as lost and appear in the Win/Loss Report.

Fields

  • Description (required) — Reason text (e.g., "Too expensive", "Chose competitor")
  • Active — Enable or disable

Default Reasons

Pre-configured reasons: Too expensive, Chose competitor, No budget, No response, Bad timing, Requirements not met, Contact lost, Other.

Validation

  • Description cannot be empty
  • Cannot delete a reason referenced by existing leads
