Document Types
Document Types define the categories used in the employee Documents tab.
Fields
- Document Type Name - category name such as Passport or Work Permit.
- Notify Before - number of days before expiry to start warning.
- Required by Default - whether this document is generally mandatory.
Workflow
- Create document types before uploading employee documents.
- Use consistent names because expiry and compliance reporting uses these categories.
Notes
- Document Types are simple master records.
- A document type cannot be deleted if employee documents already use it.
