Item Tax Types
Define tax categories for items. Each item tax type specifies which tax rates apply.
Fields
- Name - Tax type name (e.g., "Taxable Goods", "Zero Rated", "Exempt")
- Tax Rates - Select which Tax Types apply and their rates
How It Works
Each item is assigned an item tax type. When the item appears on a transaction, the system combines the item tax type with the customer/supplier Tax Group to determine the correct tax amount.
