Void a Transaction

Void a Transaction

Reverse (void) a previously posted transaction. Voiding cancels all GL postings and inventory movements.

How to Void

  1. Select the Transaction Type
  2. Enter the Transaction Number
  3. Click Search
  4. Review the transaction details
  5. Confirm the void by clicking Void This Transaction

Restrictions

  • Some transactions cannot be voided if dependent transactions exist
  • Voided transactions remain visible but are marked as void
  • Bank-reconciled transactions must be un-reconciled before voiding

Warning

Voiding is permanent and cannot be undone. Verify the transaction before confirming.
