Work Order Entry

Create a work order to plan the production of manufactured items.

Work Order Types

  • Assembly - Standard production run
  • Unassemble - Reverse production (disassemble finished goods back to components)
  • Advanced - Complex production with additional cost tracking

Fields

  • Item - Manufactured item to produce
  • Quantity - Number of units to produce
  • Date - Work order date
  • Required By - Target completion date
  • Location - Warehouse receiving finished goods

After Creation

  1. Release to manufacturing via Release to Manufacturing
  2. Issue components via Issue Items
  3. Record production via Produce Items
  4. Optionally add costs via Additional Costs
