Working Days

Working Days define the default seven-day working calendar.

Grid Fields

Each row represents one day of the week and contains:

  • Is Working - whether the day is normally worked.
  • Work Hours - standard hours for that weekday.

Workflow

  1. Review all seven rows.
  2. Mark weekends or off-days as not working.
  3. Enter standard hours for working days.
  4. Save before testing attendance or payroll.

Why It Matters

The payroll engine uses this page, together with Holiday Calendar, to calculate period working days, prorated salary, and attendance-based deductions.
