CRM Settings

Global configuration for the CRM module. These settings affect behavior across all CRM pages.

General Settings

  • Lead Ref Prefix — Prefix for auto-generated lead references (default: LD). Example: LD-0001, LD-0002.
  • Opportunity Ref Prefix — Prefix for opportunity references (default: OP). Example: OP-0001.
  • Contract Ref Prefix — Prefix for contract references (default: CT). Example: CT-0001.
  • Default Probability % — Default win probability for new leads (default: 10)
  • Auto-Close Stale Opportunities — Number of days after which inactive opportunities are automatically closed (default: 90, set to 0 to disable)

Automation Settings

  • Auto-create Contact for New Leads — When enabled, automatically creates a contact person record in the CRM contact system for each new lead (default: enabled)
  • Carry Forward Communication on Conversion — When enabled, copies all communication log entries from a lead to the new customer record during conversion (default: enabled)
  • Enable Lead Scoring — When enabled, activates predictive lead scoring based on configured weights in the scoring configuration table (default: disabled)
  • Lead Assignment Mode — How new leads are assigned:
    • Manual — Leads must be manually assigned to a salesperson (default)
    • Auto Round-Robin — Leads are automatically distributed to team members based on capacity. See Sales Teams for member capacity settings.

Enabling the CRM Module

The entire CRM module can be enabled or disabled per company:

  1. Go to Setup → Company Setup
  2. Under Optional Modules, check or uncheck CRM
  3. Save company preferences

When disabled, the CRM menu does not appear in the navigation.
