Warehouse
The Warehouse section explains how NotrinosERP models physical storage and warehouse work. It combines standard inventory locations with optional WMS detail so companies can stay simple or move into structured bin-level execution.
What belongs in Warehouse
- Inventory locations that act as logical warehouses or branches.
- Hierarchical WMS locations such as warehouse, zone, aisle, rack, shelf, and bin.
- Receipt, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, transfer, and counting activity.
- Replenishment, routing, and capacity-aware storage decisions.

How warehouse structure works
- Create an Inventory Location for each operating warehouse or branch stock point.
- Enable WMS on locations that need structured bin-level management.
- Build the hierarchy in Warehouse Locations: warehouse -> zone -> aisle -> rack -> shelf -> bin.
- Use receipt, putaway, replenishment, and picking tools against that hierarchy.
Practical operating flow
- Inbound work starts with receipts, quality checks where required, and putaway into the right bin.
- Internal work includes transfers, replenishment, cycle counting, and stock corrections.
- Outbound work moves through picking, packing, shipping, and dispatch review.
- Cross-warehouse movement can be handled through direct transfers or transfer orders, depending on control needs.
