Prepayment or Final Invoice Entry

This page handles invoicing for prepayment orders. It creates either a prepayment request invoice or the final settlement invoice.

Prepayment Invoice

  • Created before delivery to collect advance payment
  • Amount is based on the prepayment percentage set on the order
  • Posted to a prepayment liability account until delivery

Final Invoice

  • Created after delivery of prepayment orders
  • The prepayment amount is deducted from the total
  • Settles any remaining balance
