Lead Sources

Define where leads originate. These categories are used when creating leads and in analytics to track source effectiveness.

Fields

  • Source Name (required) — Unique source identifier (e.g., Website, Referral, Cold Call)
  • Description — Brief description of this source
  • Active — Enable or disable (shown only when editing)

Default Sources

The following sources are pre-configured: Website, Cold Call, Email, Referral, Advertisement, Trade Show, Social Media, Employee Referral, Walk-in, Other.

Validation

  • Source name cannot be empty
  • Cannot delete a source that is referenced by existing leads
