Work Shifts
Work Shifts define the expected working time pattern for employees.
Fields
- Shift Name - shift label.
- Start Time - scheduled shift start.
- End Time - scheduled shift end.
- Break Duration - unpaid or planned break duration in minutes.
- Work Hours - planned paid work hours.
- Night Shift - whether the shift is a night shift.
Workflow
- Create shifts first.
- Assign them to employees in Manage Employees.
- Use them in Attendance Sheet or Attendance Entry.
Notes
- The page stores shift definitions only. It does not create a rotating roster by itself.
