Work Shifts

Work Shifts define the expected working time pattern for employees.

Fields

  • Shift Name - shift label.
  • Start Time - scheduled shift start.
  • End Time - scheduled shift end.
  • Break Duration - unpaid or planned break duration in minutes.
  • Work Hours - planned paid work hours.
  • Night Shift - whether the shift is a night shift.

Workflow

  1. Create shifts first.
  2. Assign them to employees in Manage Employees.
  3. Use them in Attendance Sheet or Attendance Entry.

Notes

  • The page stores shift definitions only. It does not create a rotating roster by itself.
