Employee Salary Override
Each employee can have personal salary overrides that take the highest priority during payslip calculation. When editing an employee's salary details, you can:
- Set a personal salary amount that overrides the salary structure amount
- Set a personal formula that overrides both the salary structure formula and the pay element default formula
This is useful for special arrangements (e.g., a specific employee has a negotiated bonus formula different from their grade standard).
Formula Priority Order:
- Employee Salary Override (this page) - Highest priority
- Salary Structure formula - Mid priority
- Pay Element default formula - Lowest priority
The override is date-effective: set Effective From and optionally Effective To dates to control when the override applies.
